The Research Group Public Health & Digital Medicine at the Department of Dermatology and Allergy, TUM University Hospital, is looking for a motivated student assistant or intern (m/f/d) with a background in Geography, Health Geography, Geoinformatics, GIS, or a related field.
About the Position
The position focuses on the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis methods in the context of public health research. You will contribute to innovative projects at the intersection of healthcare, digital medicine, epidemiology, and spatial data science.
Your Responsibilities
- Analysis, processing, and visualization of health-related spatial data
- Application of GIS methods in public health and epidemiological research
- Data preparation, management, and quality assurance
- Literature research and support in scientific projects
- Assistance with data analysis and presentation of results
Your Profile
- Enrolled Bachelor's or Master's student in Geography, Health Geography, Geoinformatics, or a related discipline
- Experience with GIS software (e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS)
- Structured and independent working style
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Good German and English skills
